I want to thank(and plug), Ruangsangthai Hardware.
My village water supply is very low and lately they have been shutting down the system to clean their filters. It got to the point last weekend where the water was shut off for 36 hrs.
I have a well but it had not worked in over a year, but with the village water being shut off, Sunday Morning I went to Ruangsangthai for help. Mr. Aud listen to my problem, in English, and by 10:30 he and his helper were at my house. I live 20 KMs from his shop. He had all the necessary parts and within 2 hours had, re-piped both sides of the pump, installed a couple of check valves, and had my well pumping water better than ever.

I have had outstanding customer service as well. I did some comparison shopping of pumps and found the prices at Rungsangthai to be the best. Honest folks willing to help. I will shop there a lot I am sure!

I've been fortunate to position Ruangsangthai as the "solution store" for water needs, power tools and increasingly home building products in Buriram. While my wife and I can speak and understand English I have made the investment in time and government paperwork to hire two native born English speakers and place College Graduate bi-lingual assistants with the two expats who coordinate sales and service for non Thai speakers. H.R. at Ruangsangthai has been on a mission to hire more bi-lingual store staff including plumbers who can understand and speak English. Frankly same day service is not always possible for a delivery or plumbing repair and I am thrilled to read feedback regarding Mr. Aud. He has a desk near the solar power panels inside the front door of Ruangsangthai and recently has successfully installed water pumps powered by the PEA and solar panels in Buriram. Mr. Aud and Mr. "A" are lead plumbers for swimming pool filter pumps and salt chlorinator installations and repairs for my swimming pool customers in Buriram province and Surin province. If the Swimming Pool is on a commercial basis or extraordinarily complicated I refer swimming pool builders to Paul Bodkin of Isaan Pools. I still proudly serve the needs of the local citizens with all manner of water pumps and home building suppliers. I would also like to plug Ruangsangthai Hardware, recently I had a problem with a shower fitting and even though the part was worth less than 700 baht they made the effort to come to my home to rectify it for no extra cost, The expat staff Bob and Moses are a pleasure to deal with.

Wozza: Thank you for your kind words. I will pass your comments to Mr. Bob and Mr. Moses and their support team in the "Foreign Sales Department". I am fortunate that both Mr. Bob and Mr. Moses have made personal contacts with various vendors and can generally get expert advise and special replacement parts ordered in a prompt manner for my valued customers. My store will have a large covered area in April near the front parking area.

Mr. Aud | Mr. Moses Lopez and Mr. "P Bob" are currently in Bangkok on a business trip to be trained in the functions and repairs of swimming pools and spas. Mr. P Bob has real world construction experience including working a construction job at the Saddam Hussein airport in Iraq. These three gentlemen will return on Sunday to Buriram. On Tuesday April 26th Mr. Bob from California will start his four day product sourcing trip at the Architect Expo held inside the Impact Muang Thong Thani Exposition Center. I should have a native English speaker and the two translators to assist foreign customers each and every day of the week. Ruangsangthai Hardware is closed one day today Sunday May 1st to observe Labor Day. However my builders merchants will be fully staffed including the plumbing teams and delivery truck drivers starting on Monday May 2nd. Mr. Bob spent three days at the Architect Expo in Bangkok and has set up new product displays and made arrangements with several building materials firms to have new "product consultants" on duty at Ruangsangthai to service the needs of home owners and building contractors in Buriram. A popular wall rendering cement sold at Ruangsangthai is Tiger Cement. I will soon have a new Mitsubishi Water Pumps display and a new Kera swimming Pool and Bathroom Ceramic Tile display inside Ruangsangthai. Thank you for your support. Mr. Pichai.

The construction projects at the front of my family owned Buriram Builders Merchants are in progress 7 days a week. Please note the safety planks on the scaffolding that I sell at Ruangsangthai. If you drive to the rear of Ruangsangthai you will see construction on the new warehouse to expand the stock of ceramic floor tile | ceramic Wall tile and swimming pool tile which will be in stock in much larger quantities. The Thai Building contractor can not give me an exact date he will finish with the front covered parking area roof and rain gutters. Parking is still available near the lawn mower | water pump | power Tools | chain saw repair department of Ruangsangthai on the Buriram Phutthaisong Highway 2074. The parking lot roof project took a bit longer than the contractor stated. However I am proud to say you can now park your motorbike | truck | SUV or auto under cover at the front parking area of Ruangsangthai and enter the store without any rain. The professionals at BK Roofing are experienced at this metal roofing materials. I priced Blue Scope Metal Roof prior to selecting BK Roof for my family owned builders merchants supply store in Buriram. Additions and remodeling a home or commercial building is never a walk on the beach in Buriram, Thailand.

Zinsano has entered the power tool business in Thailand. You may be familiar with this Italian brand of high pressure washers made in Italy and the PRC. Everyday I sell this brand for less than any sale price you see posted at the Buriram Robinson Lifestyle Center | HomePro | Thai Watsadu | Big C Supermarket | DoHome. The women in the photos pretending to do repair jobs with hand tools on the shop blow machine are not the same repair technicians that Buriram tool owners obtain personal services 7 days a week at Ruangsangthai.

Many expats in Buriram will be familiar with Mr. Nung. He is a long time employee of my family owned lawn mower | water pump | power tool repair shop. Mr. Nung takes the time to learn from factory trained technical trainers and to help instruct the new staff who assist in high pressure washer sprayer repairs at the service department of Ruangsangthai. He was willing to take a hands on educational experience today with female representatives of the Zinsano pressure washer team. Karcher has not yet sent the same caliber of technicians to repair pressure washers in Buriram.

Seven days a week trucks arrive with home building products and tools at the loading docks of Ruangsangthai in Buriram. I have hired two dozen lorry drivers to deliver merchandise including water tanks so I can offer 7 day a week delivery to homes and businesses in Buriram Province. This Thursday morning a particular Safe water storage tank lorry driver deserves an award for not knocking over pallets of wall tile and floor tile in the warehouse attached to the main store. I have no idea how this truck passed through any highway police checks. That concern could explain his 8am arrival at my hardware store. Thank you, Mr. Pichai

Another plug for Ruangsangthai.
I've made several visits over the past few days and as always have received excellent attention and service.
Earlier this week I was attempting to dig some post holes but was unable to due to some 300 strength concrete, about 8 inches down, which had spilled during the pool build.
Bob and Mr Pichai kindly rented me a heavy duty Dewalt concrete breaker which got me out of trouble. As it tired out, the slab was nearly a foot thick, so took some breaking.
Bob advises that in general Ruangsangthai don't hire out plant tools however Mr Pichai will make exceptions for known/trusted customers.

To be honest I think that Ruangtangshai could do very well out of it. Obviously they would need to be selective as I'm sure that mr Pichai prefers selling and then servicing tools. However if it was restricted to larger items such as cement mixers, super heavy drills, breakers and the like I'm sure there would be a good rental market for the one off projects.
I hired the concrete breaker which I guess would have cost around 22 to 25,000 THB to buy. There's no way I would have bought one at that cost compared to what I needed to do. I'd have spent days chipping away with a small rotary hammer.
Currently I need to set 12 posts for what I'm building. I'll probably end up mixing the concrete by hand like the Thai builders do. But, if I could rent an electric mixer at a reasonable day rate, I would, even though the exercise will do me good.

I wish to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt Thank You for the positive reviews and Buriram expat customers suggestions. This week I upgraded the delivery fleet with two small Tata trucks and one large Isuzu diesel tractor. Twice in July I have had Buriram Police conduct driver safety classes for the drivers and loaders who deliver home building materials, ready mixed concrete and kitchen fittings to Isaan home builders. With the large building materials contracts for new condominium projects and Buriram house estates I have expanded the range of brands and quality of goods sold at my my family owned builders merchants. Does very well in Australia , Bunnings large chain of hardware stores, hires everything from sanding machines , concrete mixers , whackers , tile cutters , generators , trailers , nail guns to but name a few , going gang busters

Selected tools are in fact rented in Buriram such as soil compactors and concrete vibrators. The same high quality metal shuttering rental firm located next to the Esso Gas station closest to Rungsangthai, across the street from BC Home, offers fair prices on daily rentals of house building tools. Today a new shipment of Rain Bird Garden watering kits arrived at my store to be on special at the Home & Garden Expo which starts on Tuesday April 3rd. Another USA firm Milwaukee Power Tools has shipped 18 volt battery tool kits to my store including 9ah long life batteries. Songkran Holiday so the employees can attend Temple services. My store is open Thursday April 12th until 2pm. Then a holiday four days. Open again at 8:30am on April 17th. New Home and garden products arrive each week. Thank you for your support.
