Check out the website for the 2017 architect expo which was held in Bangkok. There was a vendor there with very similar products.

Notrub, a swimming pool overflow works in exactly the same way. Channel underneath with plastic grating on top. Available in different widths, white or black and under 1,000 baht a metre.
