Everybody that drives in Thailand has been forced to pay a bribe to traffic police at some time, but those days "seem" to be over.
Now, if you hand over a bribe, the police can arrest you and the police officer can be rewarded with 10.000 THB (and you know who will have to pay that)
Just be careful out there
