My Wife went and registered our Dog at the local Amphur Office about 6 months ago, the whole Village as asked to do so by the Village head-man. Most of the responsible dog owners did ( which means most didn't  ::) )   We have also been told that someone will be coming to vaccinate the dogs in the Village . Our dog has been vaccinated already , along with being neutered.
It's been getting quite bad lately with dog chasing and growling at people in the Village but funnily enough they don't seem to bother me .
It's only a matter of time before there is a dog cull in the Village again. The last time this happened we woke up one morning and about 20 dogs had died through poisoning.
Our house is Walled and Gated so we make sure our dog is kept inside but I do take him for a daily walk .Sometime the gate is left open and he goes out but only to play with the dogs next-door but he's always kept in at night .
I did read that Pet registration was on it's way (https://www.phuketgazette.net/news/pet-registration-on-the-way) with dogs being microchip-ed.  runningdog

My TW said Thailand bought fake Rabies shots for animals and are having to vaccinate all again.  They came by yesterday and did our dogs for 50 baht each.
