Me:
Been coming to Thailand for 10 years now and seen quite a bit of the place, I still get a buzz when I land in BKK.
Been married and divorced and have a 5 year old son in Loei, come to Thailand every 10 weeks, I plan to retire to Thailand in early 2020 and as I now have a GF in Buriram, the plan is to live there.
Ex UK military, now working in Saudi Arabia, if all goes well my plan for 2020 is looking good.
I'm an avid collector of coins and banknotes and 90% of my collection is from Thailand, I plan to set up an on-line shop when I retire in Buriram as well as maybe a small cafe/bar.
Enjoying reading all the posts and you all seem like a good bunch, hope to see you all one day.
regards.

PM me next time you are in town, maybe we can exchange some coins and lies (I mean war stories). I supported the UK in Bashra 2007.

You're going to have to get an answer from someone other that me as I rarely go to them. However, I would say the two main are the Irish Bar and Bamboo Bar, and I stop by to say hi to Mel at the Swan about every 6 months.
But 2 weeks ago I stopped at the Irish Bar as I had a craving for a Magners and found out they don't carry ciders any more. The time before I was there I'm fairly sure I had a Magners.
I was going to say download the BE Map from here but in looking they have the Swan at its old location and does not show the Irish Bar at the same place.
