G'day everyone. My name gives my location away. I've been coming here 14 years since meeting my wife. We married ten years back and lived in UK then Melbourne. Her children came too, now 30 and 27, they take care of my house in Oz. I'm retired and living the dream of being a farmer, born in London, holiday in Sussex, I want to be surrounded by animals and produce. Live your dream then give plenty of advice.

Good luck with this next stage in your journey.

Nookiebear, I think we have met. Please order me some Branston Pickle, life is worthless without it.
-
Welcome - plenty of animals here, so you should be OK.
Good to see you haven't sacrificed decent British quality by asking Nookie for Vegemite instead of Branston! :)

Plenty in stock.............Where have we met?

Popsuk, with Dave, Alan and Jimmy. Your irreverence during last October's events had me in fits of laughter.
-
My good thanks to all who have replied. I have been here since Feb 2017 putting the farm together. We have a long way to go
-
Welcome to the forum. If you need advise on selected farming equipment please see me in Buriram. Best Regards, Mr. Pichai

Popsuk is no longer...closed end of August

By the way and of no great interest Bill Bryson describes Branston Pickle as brown sludge but surprisingly tasty.
-
Sadly I know. I was there when the tragedy occurred. I met Dave and Martin on the last day, Some of the ladies there had known no other job. My best wishes to them all.
-
Mr Pichai, I will most certainly visit your shop. I want good reliable equipment, sadly not much is made here. I have googled your location an will visit you soon.

Vegemite instead of Branston? Think we may be confused. The similarity -or not as the case may be -is Vegemite instead of Marmite.

No comparison intended. with Marmite - just highlighting nanglong's good judgement in buying a quality British product. :)

For sure, you can't beat a bit of Branston.
As for Marmite.........I'm a Bovril man. Toast and Bovril is the best.

I've got 4 jars currently. It's the one thing I have friends bring with them when they visit from the UK.
