Jeffer Steak at Taweekit supercenter

All info I could get is that the restaurant serves Thai & Western food, premium steaks.

Any more views & photos about the place, food, manu, etc from people visit inthere?

The Wife and I had what I would rate the worst meal ever at this place a while back.  NEVER AGAIN.

I can confirm Got Lost's post.
Been to the Jeffers in Robinson's Surin once and I will never go again.
I had a chicken steak and it was a nasty piece of slimy reformed chicken meat.
I should have realised when the prices looked cheap

Thanks for the info, I was going to take the brat there for her birthday. The ice creams at the other end of the building look ok though (if you are a nine year old, that is, I prefer a beer). I have been taking her to Homepro to eat, once a month, ok up to now to my surprise. Friendly service and not too much hussle.

I went there once long ago. The steak was paper thin and in no way fit for a medium-rare grill. Maybe they've changed - I'll try them again some day. Everybody deserves a second chance.

I eat in this restaurant a lot, and the steaks are very good, you wont be disappointed.

Bill ... the restaurant is up the laneway 30m.(The laneway between the hairdresser & the coffee shop)

You can't see the restaurant from Hanchana soi until you walk up the laneway a bit. The laneway opens up into quite a big parking lot.

The place that always looks closed is the coffee shop.

Been by there plenty of times going to Muang Pizza; but, never had reason to stop.  Saw the "Book and Bed" sign . .  wasn't enough to catch my interest.  A good steak would be of interest.  Haven't found one in Thailand, yet.
Thanks for the info.

Book & Bed Restaurant which is to the rear of the closed coffee shop, is an excellent restaurant where both the husband and wife proprietors speak and understand English very well. The husband spent his College learning years in the United States. I can not think of a better beef steak or better pork steak restaurant in Buriram. Your Thai spouse will enjoy the Thai food served at this long established family owned restaurant if she does not crave Western Food.

We go to Jeffers ocassionally, as I quite like their chicken with melted cheese on top served with mash potato and gravy.

Anyway ... today my girlfriend had a meal that qualified for a free plate of sides. You can have rice, french fries or salad.

She opted for the french fries. Photo in the menu looked good.

The free side dish presented to her had 9 little shoestring french fries ...... yes ... a whole 9 french fries. I managed to count them all without having to take my shoes off.

I looked back towards the kitchen to see if some fries had perhaps fallen off the plate en route to our table.

It was actually quite funny and a bit ridiculous. Jazz saw the funny side of it also and we both had a good laugh.

But we did have a nice ringside seat to watch some movie star chick from Bangkok sing a song in the mall outside the cafe, so the story does have a happy ending.    thumbup

So ... the real purpose of this yarn is ... the french fries are available as a 50 baht extra side dish with any meal. Forget it.

Also ... tried their 69 baht scallops side dish once. Had 4 squashed little buggers each the size and thickness of a 1 baht coin. Forget this dish also.
