I just picked up on this this morning and farmers are being told to get their cattle vaccinated (฿100.- / beast) in our village.

I didn't know that there had been a breakthrough with foot and mouth disease vaccinations, I remember the horror scenarios in the UK when whole herds were killed, burned and buried not too long ago. I must admit my heart skipped a beat.
