Just recently I've noticed quite a few goats on Highway 24 on the left when heading from Nong Ki towards Chok Chai virtually opposite the big blue overhead 'WELCOME TO BURIRAM 'sign

Bigbus ... if your friend is closer to Mueang Buriram, the big vacant area just on the western edge of town where they have the
Tue.Thurs.Sat afternoon markets. (map attached)

I've often seen a big herd of goats (30+) happily grazing through all the leftover rubbish from the previous nights markets.
Usually around mid morning. There seems to be several ladies always sitting under a tree keeping a watchful eye.

Perhaps worth asking them if any for sale, or where to buy ?

Those goats are owned by one of the richest and most eccentric men in Buriram. You will find him at his heavy plant yard in town. I met him once, a few years back. Nice bloke.

Turn right at crossroads after bus station. Next lights turn left. On the opposite corner there is a development of new town houses where the heave machinery used to be. The gentleman in question has yards and a house along the left hand side of that road.
