Tommy, do you mean Sarakham in Chonburi and will therefore be traveling 359/304/331/3138 ?

I did that stretch 359 / 304 /331 around 2 months ago and the 359 was still only 2 lanes but they where working hard on it.
Now for something completely different ;)
Last week I came back (from Buriram) via the 24 / 304 / 331 and that 331 (after the turn off towards Sattahip / Rayong) is in desperate need of repair with big holes appearing in both the left and the right side lane. Be careful when driving that one

I was on it earlier this week. The 331 is horrible and if it was not for the roadworks at Chachoengsao I would go down the 304 to the 7.
The 359 is getting better all the time. One stretch of dual carriageway towards the bottom of the road is officially open. many more parts have been white lined but are not in use yet.
Affectionately known as 'soi minibus' (because of all the vans going to Aranyaprathet) I like this road because you can usually make good progress with your journey

Co-Co When we go to Pattaya and the wife is driving we go from Nang Rong to Wattana wotsit and Turn right on to the 359 to 304/331. We haven't travelled it since March when they were starting the dualling or widening. I'm wondering what it will be like in January, when we next go( Thanks for the input to you and others)

Wattana Nakhon........ sounds like Wat-a-nana-korn
Should be OK Tommy, the road seems to be getting better all the time.
I like stopping for coffee at Coffee Please,

Just done the Jomtien round trip and apart from 9kms somewhere in the middle, the 359 is now dual carriageway all the way. Reason for the single lane section is that they are still in the process of building a bridge over a stream.

9km?......... that's a bloody long bridge Mick! :D :D :D
Did it last week as well and had to make a dodgy U-turn (against oncoming 2-way traffic) to get to Coffee Please. This business and Coffee and Cakes must be suffering with the closure of the east bound carriageway.

We obviously stop at the same coffee shop. The only way I can remember it is that it is exactly 200km from our house going and 185km from Jen's sister's on the way back. I refrain from commenting on your bridge too far.
