Title: Forum problems.
Post by: Review on July 28, 2014, 08:45:41 AM
We know there have been problems recently but now things are good.

Some people said they had problems and wrote it in the shout box. Please send a PM to Review or Admin if you have a problem. We can then look. If it is in the shout box then we may not see it.

Some people complain. Please complain to us and we can try and help. If you only complain together how can we help?

Please also do not post links in the shout box. If you have some idea or information then post in a thread with your own idea.That would be better for people to reply. The shout box is for quick chat and fun.

The song title thread is a good place for words from songs.

This is a good forum and some information is useful. Please keep it up.If you have an idea about how to improve then please tell us too. This thread can be used to discuss new ideas.

Thank You

There was an android application for Buriram Expats. It was not reliable and was not good.

Other options are not ready now. Maybe coming soon.

Must be your internet or computer. Loading very quickly for me. Maybe you picked up some malware from SF. 5555

@Smithy. No problems for me.

I'm having the same problems.

On my iPad the sites sometimes doesn't wanna load

On my PC the site loads, but I have to click a couple of times to open a topic.
(On my PC it started after I got Firefox ESR 52.7.4)

So Malware doubt it, but Internet / Provider seems plausible

Edit: Provider is TOT Fiber. Picture Smithy attached is not visible for me. Will try to experiment with changing DNS

problems here in Denmark too.

Both yesterday and today. On my android there is no problem, but PC does have an issue, as mentioned by others, have to reload minimum twice to get the page to open.

My daughter has same experience at her house.

Have cleared cache and so on, a little annoying, hopefully it will get solved  :P

@Smithy.

Question are you on 3BB by any chance ??

The reason why I ask is that the only instance I had those kind of error messages was while I am on 3BB, haven't seen them on TOT or True.

I am with true , its not my PC or malware...it a problem with BE
I don't have problems with any other site
I remember a year ago when I said SF had problems and the half a dozen regular posted said it was fine and I was talking b****ck's  ...that is until it crashed a while ago and Pat had to fix it .
Forums need a skilled admin to keep things on track or they go pear shaped ....simple's ;)

I'm on 3bb. Actually had to double click this thread to get into it. There does seem to be a bit of a glitch.

Just checked on my phone and it is fine. Something to do with PC's by the looks. It's not happened before. Just this one time when I just logged in.

BE has major problems like what happened on SF. Old software and nobody to fix.

I also only have problems with BE, on my iPad it even refuses to open.

Didn't mention that it could be malware, but dismissed it as I am having problems on 2 different environments (iPad and PC). Just tested in a VM and on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) it's doing the same as on PC.

I can't recall ever having a problem with BE. Meanwhile perhaps SF could look at why I have not received an email to reset my login despite numerous tries over the past 18 months.

I don't understand. He made a post on here that he would never log on again. He even posted on his own forum that he never comes on here. How does he know?

I've been a member on there for as long as I have here. I also signed onto their, appears now defunct, Buriram site. Can't log into the Surin one now.

As for that local Forum ( I'm a member though never post as I've been banned a few times and have to fly under the radar  ...lol  ) , the people that run it like to keep it to a small clique ( more like a Face Book freinds page than a forum TBH ) with the average member being well into retirement age ,so I guess the forum will slowly die as its memebrs do. The funny thing is the members had a thread recently saying HOW to attract new members when all the time people ( like you Emptypockets ) are being rebuffed.....................a strange little local forum !!!!
