Title: A couple of Reommendations
Post by: Freddy on March 14, 2019, 09:42:45 PM
All,
Last week I was in Bangkok buying a Triumph Tiger for a good friend who is currently working in Singapore but settling permanently in Thailand in the next few months.

I just thought I would pass on a couple of recommendations for anyone who may be looking for a Big Bike in the future or anyone who needs to have a Big Bike transported from Bangkok or any other part of Thailand.

Firstly. MM Superbike.

Owned by a guy called Jimmy who is Finnish/Thai. He has excellent verbal and written English and was an absolute pleasure to do business with. He was very straight, honest and professional. He has links to most of the Big Bike dealerships in Bangkok and is one of the buyers they use when customers are trading in used for new.
His prices are good. He provides his own 3 month warranty and operates his business from home where at the time I visited he had around 12 motorbikes for sale.
He advertises on Baht and Sold and Thailand Market Place.

I had the bike transported back from Bangkok by a guy known as Boy
Another really nice guy. He has a small bike transport business based in Bangkok. Just him, his mate and 2 trucks.
I came back to Lam Plai Mat with him and the bike and was pleased to note what a careful driver he was and that every time we stopped he checked and double checked all the bike anchor points, straps etc. Very entertaining guy who has some English and is very keen to learn more. So keen in fact that any attemp I made to catch
up on sleep was a No Go.

Charge from Bangkok Rama 5 to Lam Plai Mat was 4,500. Damn good value I thought.

He transports all over Thailand.
