If you have the ability (or desire) to bash out some 4 chord songs on a guitar why not head down to Prasat on a Tuesday. A small group of us are regularly meeting to have a natter, play some basic songs, get some practice, learn new songs and try to improve our playing.
Emphasis is very much on 4 chord songs that those with limited ability can play and learners can quickly pick up. Experienced players are always welcome particularly if they have the patience to put up with us basic thrashers and strummers. Singers are also welcome if they can put up with tunes coming to a grinding halt / struggling pause if we find an F or Bm interrupting the flow. We would even welcome a spoons / Bodrum / washboard player (there?s always one ????? oldmanwithstick )
Venue is the Lemon Lounge in Prasat.
Starting time is on Tuesdays 5-6pm. Finishing time is dependent upon : when your fingers start to bleed, you fall drunkenly from your chair, the bar runs out of beer, your wife calls to tell you to get home. etc,etc.
If you have a guitar bring it with you. If not, we have a couple spare and/or are not fussy about passing our instruments around to allow people to join in.
