How to watch the 2018 Commonwealth Games



The 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games is nearly upon us, with the action starting today !

We  ( TEAM UK ) have a team of over 390 athletes ready to represent Team And Country in Australia's Gold Coast from 4-15 April.

Team England will be providing highlights from across all of our sports right here at teamengland.org and across our social media channels.   greatbritainflag

BBC

BBC Sport will deliver comprehensive coverage of the 21st Commonwealth Games from Australia's Gold Coast from 4-15 April.

You can follow live coverage from around midnight on BBC One, BBC Red Button and BBC Two , with highlight programme's showcasing the best of the day's events on BBC Two and BBC Four and a catch-up service available on the BBC Red Button.



If you have and Android Box the Best APP to use is TVCatchup which has very good BBC1 , BBC2 and BBC Red Button Channels and you can download it from .... HERE

If you use a PC you can use their site .....TV Catchup .com

Check your your TV Listings for Times  ....... TV Listings or use the Built in TV Guide on TV Catchup ( PC Version only )

There is no such thing as "Team UK" at the Commonwealth games. Also, the Union Flag is not flown.

I understand the final of the Ball Tampering event is on Monday.

Australia are favourites, given their recent good form and home ground advantage,
but England, Sth Africa, India and Sri Lanka are all in with a good chance, having all
put in solid performances over the years.

Apparently the 15 hi-def cameras covering the event will be switched off, to allow
for an even contest.

Judges will pick the winner based on originality, cunning and guile.

There may even be 5 gold medals awarded.     australiaflag
