Hi,

Thanks for all the help, we have today rented and paid the deposit on a house for the 4 nights of the race meeting.

Special thanks to Linesy for your information, although the resort was full the owner kindly rented us her house.

Jack does have rooms for 2 of the 4 nights but the saturday is booked solid EVERYWHERE.

Good luck to anyone still looking......!

Each booking company be it Agoda, Booking.com or others has a room quota often 2/3 rooms. When their quota is sold, it does not mean the hotel/resort is full. Look at other booking sites or call the place direct.

Nearly right Nick. It is my understanding that platforms such as Agoda etc don't actually apply a quota system as such.

Individual resorts can release as many rooms as they like for online bookings. When those rooms are booked, the resort will immediately alter their online listing to display "sorry, no rooms available on your date"

This does not necessarily mean the resort is full. It just means that the rooms allocated for Agoda etc are full.

The resort can then decide to release more rooms, or hold back as many as they want for walk ins from the street. Resorts have full administrator access to their online listings, so amendments can be done almost immediately.

I have some first hand experience with Wotif.com in this respect. Wotif would keep 10% commission, then pay the resort the balance for any booking.

I have received this from a friend. Please PM (Martypillow) if you require further information. Thanks.

I have a property 15 mins from the circuit. It sleeps 4 people one king size bad and a double sofa bed , shower. All facilities within 2 mins, Big c , Makro, Robinsons, and food stalls within 2 mins walking distance.Transport too and from the circuit included in the price. Quiet location, plus many other extras if you require. The price i can let it go for is 5000bt per person, but you will not want for anything. Hotels are charging 7000 per night and not give you want i will. Don't forget that transport is included. If you are interested in this offer, which is very cheap, contact me. You will not get any cheaper. What ever you need to know don't hesitate to ask. Martin

We have a private home available for the entire Motto Grand Prix event. We want to let it out for the entire 5, 6 or 7 days for a total price of 60K baht, or approx. 250 Euros per night, whether its for 5, 6 or 7 nights. Its a small one bedroom house with a double fold out sofa that also sleeps two. Private bath in the master bedroom. Beautiful western specs kitchen. 10 minutes from the speedway. And we have a friend that will pick you up at the airport or bus station and take you back and forth to the speedway for a fee to be negotiated with him. Its close to grocery stores and walking distance to a nice restaurant. We'd like a 50% deposit via PayPal. Pictures available by request. Contact Rollee by email: rollee_rolstone@yahoo.com; or call me at 089-000-3763 within the Kingdom or from abroad at 668-9000-3763. We are not in this business so there won't be room service and you'll have to make your own beds...but we'll do our best to assist you in making your Motto Grand Prix adventure a great experience! Rollee
