Pool Table
« on: October 13, 2017, 06:35:14 PM »
FYI
I've just bought a PoolmTable from a company in Bangkok. They make to order at size required. I got an 8x4. Comes with 4 queues, chalk, rests, brush, rack and cover.
Cost was 35,000 + 5,000 delivery & installation.
For the price, quality is really good and plays very well.

Good looking table and a good price.

Is it slate bedded?

Granite top not slate.
Good choice. Should stop any warping in the heat.

Starman - yes, correct. A friend down the road has a wood top and its warped. The same guys who made my table have taken his away today to replace the top in granite and re-felt it.

Tassie - thanks Ray. It'll get plenty of use.

Price Correction.
Table was 36,500. I opted for a chunkier leg so paid an additional 1,500. Standard legs are still quite chunky but for the small amount extra I prefer the heavier look.
