Bi Lingual "P' Bob" returns to Buriram Builders Merchants
« on: July 03, 2017, 10:37:58 AM »
I am delighted to announce that P' Bob, a Thai citizen who understands and speaks Thai and English has rejoined the foreign sales team of my family owned hardware store in Buriram. He has proven a real asset in communication with expats, spouses of expats, Thai home builders and the 200 plus Thai staff of Ruangsangthai. In the photo is Mr. Aud a bi-lingual plumber, P' Bob, and Kun Chai who also is a very helpful plumber. Miss Jaew has four dedicated  College student assistants in the foreign sales department. Mr. California Bob is going on year four at Ruangsangthai and I believe I have staffed the foreign sales department with dedicated employees who "put the customer first" and really try to order any product on the ground in Thailand for expats who build a home in Buriram  or Surin Province.  The Honda HRJ216K2 self propelled petrol lawn mower has proven the #1 choice of expats in Thailand, and my family owned store has sold more of this genuine Honda lawn mower than any other single store in Thailand according to Honda Power products Thailand. Thank you for your support

Hello All,

I have one of these lawn mowers at home in Australia and I must say the self propelled is a 'must have' My questions is: I have a small lawn in Buriram and would like to buy a lawnmower, but I find this one will be too big for the small area. Has anyone bought one of those smaller electric ones I see. And if so are they any good as far as picking up the clippings and throwing into the catcher. any advice would be appreciated

regards

G'day Wayne. I had an Ozito electric mower back in Oz. One with wheels, not the Flymo type.

$100 from Bunnings. (I see they're now $149)  14" cut width.

The only mower I ever owned. Never let me down. I had a very large front & back yard, all grassed. Used the mower every 4-5 weeks. Catcher was perfect, but I ditched it eventually. I was spending more time emptying the catcher than mowing the lawns.

I'd buy an electric mower over a petrol one every time, especially if your grassed area is small-medium size. They're cheap, quiet, lightweight.

Lazada Thailand have a selection, but warranties may be problematic. Mr Pichai may have some with dependable warranty ?

Cheers mate.

Ruangsangthai is the only store in Buriram province which has actual name brand electric lawn mowers in stock. I currently have Makita electric lawn mowers and Wolf Garten electric lawn mowers in stock. Warranty repairs and after the warranty period repairs are performed 7 days a week at my family owned lawn mower shop located across from the Buriram PEA Electric office building.  I can easily beat the Lazada prices for cash sales of Makita lawn mowers, Makita tools, Honda garden products, Hitachi garden products for Buriram expats. Mr. California Bob is very aware of price matching. Thank you for your support. Mr. Pichai.

Thanks Martin and PChai. I will prob get an electric next visit. I'm sick of the lawn getting hacked by the whipper snipper. Regards

I am delighted to report that "P" Bob is working today on Mother Day inside my Hardware Store in Buriram. Yesterday "P" Bob was part of the Ruangsangthai team that traveled to help assist a local Thai house builder with proper building practices to install extra long fiber cement roof tiles and correct building procedures to install an inexpensive underground blue water tank in a Sra Kaew village. "P" Bob took full advantage to test the Little Giant folding ladder at this Buriram home under construction.  Thank you Mr. Pichai.

"P" Bob demonstrated a 12" chain saw attachment that is mounted on any standard 4 stroke Honda Brush Cutter or 2 stroke brush cutter out near the new solar panel aluminum mounting racks this morning. He has proven to be very helpful for expats with repair services, yet please write down your name and telephone number for him in English. He will gladly help you with warranty repairs and after warranty period repairs, yet it is a huge help for "P" Bob if you have a copy of your store receipt and/or warranty paper.  The manufacturers will not reimburse my family owned store for parts or labor unless my staff present copies of the store receipt showing the date of purchase and a copy of the filled in warranty document. Being in a hurry with Thai staff who did not learn English as a first language takes a little time and patience as they fill out repair slips.  Thank you for understanding and for your support. Mr. Pichai.

Native French Speaking Hardware Staff person assists in the Nippon House Paint Department with 18" paint rollers made in the USA. I was able to hire a bi-lingual dual citizen who speaks French and Thai to assist customers at my family owned  hardware store. He has mentioned the French work week is quite different than the six day a week plan offered at Ruangsangthai. Mr. California Bob made a special one time purchase of imported Bestt Libeco Tru Pro 18" wide 3/8" nap woven fabric paint rollers | Wooster Big Ben Paint Roller Frame and fiberglass 4 foot extension poles. These high quality products including the large paint roller tray were special imports to Thailand and bought direct from the professional painter who is moving back to Chicago. The prices are considerably less than Amazon.com on these particular professional painting items at Ruangsangthai.  The Graco Paint sprayers will be n sale next week at Ruangsangthai for large painting jobs in Isaan. Thank you for your support.

"P" Thai Bob and the team I have to assist expats in building or repairing a home, have received the first order of self adhesive Fiberglass Tape that Andy the Builder and Mr. Ray from Australia requested. These experienced home builders have suffered the consequences of skinny white tape when erecting drywall boards and gypsum ceilings in Isaan.  Thai Bob and his Tool associates are holding the 2" wide Ferro brand tape and the  4" wide extra large self adhesive fiberglass tape near the front door or my family owned hardware store in Buriram. Thank you for your support and building materials suggestions. Mr. Pichai.

P Bob checks the first shipment of Solar Roof Mounted Attic Cooling Ventilation fans to arrive in Buriram at Ruangsangthai. An expat ordered these solar fans on Thursday and they arrived on Saturday in Buriram. I look forward to seeing the installation on a professional grade BlueScope metal roof of these beautiful solar powered fans. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to order a quality home building material. Mr. Pichai

P Bob helping Miss Mild with some very bright LED light fixtures that were special order for a farming customer. Some expats consider "special order" a hassle, but it is very simple and always with a smile at Ruangsangthai in Buriram. Not every day do I have these two women with big personalities at the special order desk. P Bob is now serving freshly brewed Tea as well as freshly ground coffee each day at my family owned builders merchants store in Buriram. Thank you Mr. Pichai.

Early on Friday P Bob checked a new shipment of Teka Gas Ranges. Both the oven and four burner cook top are natural gas.  While some stores claim Teka special orders will take more than one week, if you order from Miss Jaew at my family owned Buriram Home Improvement Store the delivery time can be three days. The Teka Kitchen Display of in stock appliances | sinks | taps | exhaust fans is expanding in January 2018 at Ruangsangthai. Thank You Mr. Pichai.
