Centipede
« on: July 02, 2017, 03:34:17 AM »
Just returned from Cham Ni hospital.  I was bitten by a centipede on my finger as I was sleeping in my bed at around 2am. The pain is excruciating.  After 2 pain killing shots to the affected finger and a course of medicine to take I hope all will be well as the painkiller injections begins to wear off.  The finger is now twice the size of the corresponding finger on the opposite side. I have never in my life experienced such pain from any previous critter bites.  A good centipede is a dead centipede.

Steve was it one of those with orange legs??
It would have looked for your 'bellend' first off,but remembering what your Mrs had previously said,it probably couldn't find it either ,so nipped your finger instead

That's not good Ray. They are nasty buggers and have previously been warned how painful the bites are. Hope it's feeling better soon.

Not just them, I was bitten on the @rse twice in one time many years ago.
An ice pack helped after about 7 hours. It was a horrible experience.

Got a family of around a dozen tookays and about 40 eggs behind an outdoor cupboard.....Only the other morning I saw one returning to its 'home' with a large black scorpion in its mouth

A "pain in the arse to a keyboard warrior". That's got a ring to it. Cheers Vlad.
