Oh well. Wishful thinking on my part. I?ll have to make the trip to BKK. Unless, the embassy does an outreach closer to here sometime this year!

Keep your eye open for Khon Kaen and cheek their website. https://th.usembassy.gov They are at the only source that Thai Immigration will recognize for the service you require as a US Citizen.
