« on: July 08, 2016, 12:49:39 PM »
Hi Can anyone help?

I am struggling to watch the footy late at night / early morning and believe you catch up on the BBC i Player. However I cant seem to be able to get the i Player on my computer.

Thanks

I have found the best way to watch the BBCiplayer is to use a company called Unotelly    https://www2.unotelly.com

You can try it for free .When you sign up they give 2 DNS server IP address's to put in your computer's Network adaptor.( the site explains how to do this depending on what device you are using )
When you load the BBC iplayer onto your computer browse/android box ...Unotelly enables your setting automatically  so you can watch the BBCiplayer/or other streaming sites . When your not using the iplayer's Unotelly disengages so you are on your normal IP address so your browser is not slowed down. Also to watch the BBCiplayer you only need the DNS option and there is no need for a VPN.
Try it for free and then its just about $5 a month ( about 175 Baht a month )

How it works ....  https://geekswipe.net/technology/computing/unotelly-review-robust-dns-vpn-service-to-unblock-all-foreign-networks-and-channels/

I've been using the free trail since the Euro football started ( works with the ITV player also ) and it's been very good

Sign up and give the free service a go....if  you have problems getting it to work I can talk you through it

I like the BBC/ITV iplayer's as your can watch many of there pre-recorded programs ,and for 175 Baht a month its a bargain.

Channels available on the BBCiplayer are..BBC1 , BBC2, BBC3, BBC4 , News, Parliament ,Alba and the 2 children's Channels

Channels available on the ITV Player are. ITV1, ITV2, ITV3,ITV4 ,ITVbe and CITV but you need a UK address to sign in ( which isn't difficult to obtain ;) )

Unotelly works for Netflix and other sites so I'm told but I've so far have only tried the the BBC and ITV iplayers

You can see from the photos below it works quite well......obviously you click to on the icon to go full screen

Maybe other members have got other option's to watch the BBC and ITV iPlayers

BTW..I'm not affiliated to Unotelly in any way...just a happy user :)

Thanks Sofa King

I have looked at the site and payment methods. I am not keen on sharing my Credit Carddetails on line in Thailand, if there was another way to pay then I would probably give it a go.

I am struggling to watch the footy late at night

If you read the thread started by Thailand Bart you can see  other Football viewing options are available ,but to be honest watching Football in Thai is not everyone's cup of tea

Sofa_King's production for the Final is Portugal to win in extra time or penalties ;)

I've emailed them to ask what other payment methods are avalible ;)

Also i'm not sure how long the trial is for but according to my set up page I have 27 days left ...but some say your only get 8 days free. ???

What I may try is ......when the free trial is over I'll uninstall Unotelly ( with any hidden files I can find ) and sign up again with a new email address...maybe you can do this indifferently  (  I hope they're not reading this  )

You may wish to have a look at http://hola.org/
It's free for non-commercial use or you can purchase a premium subscription.
Works on most platforms. I use it on my android TV box.

Sofa_King's production for the Final is Portugal to win in extra time or penalties ;)

AET Portugal 1 - 0 France
half-time
extra-time
(0 - 0)
(1 - 0)

My predictions can be uncanny sometimes  thumbup

Not the BBCiplay but I spotted this today...its called Zop TV     http://www.zoptv.com/live/itv

It has some of normal channels that you would find on sites like Filmon  but Zop TV has some Premium Channels to like Animal Planet, The History Channels, Discovery Channels , Cartoon network , National Geographic , MTV , Nick  and The Travel Channel along with the normal BBC and ITV channels
Also if you click on the Channels option at the top of the page they have channels from the USA and other Countries too.
It's a FREEBIE that worth adding to your Favourite bar IMHO  ;)

If anybody else use's an FREE open source option for watching their TV needs then why not share them here :)

Hola will allow you to unblock Hulu
https://hola.org/access/hulu.com/using/vpn-th
Just configure Hola to launch Hulu as though you are in the US
