Malaria Tablets
« on: August 26, 2015, 12:34:40 AM »
Hi all, not been on for awhile busy working to save my pennies for Trip. Can you purchase Malaria tablets without perscription, or is Buriram a low risk area. Had vaccinations done but  :o OMG expensive in old blighty. Price for myself and my son for 4 weeks would give us 2 weeks full exclusive in Spain.   buriram_united.
Counting down the days only 63 to go.

Cheers
Bigmac

No malaria in Buriram. You only need to worry if you are traveling to a high risk area such as borders with other countries. There is dengue fever here but covering up & using a spray containing at least 50% DEET should give adequate protection. No guarantee though.
