Can anyone suggest a good optician in town?
Need to get a new pair...

I recently had eye surgery preformed and was very satisfied with the service, Dr. speaks English, no appointment necessary.
28/25-26 Thani Rd. down past Bamboo Bar before Bangkok bank same side of the street. 086 585 8989 receptionist Thai Speaker.

Som Luck is spot on in his referal to The Ophthalmologist or Optimetrist on Thani Road very near Siam Bank. 086-585-8989. He does do vision tests and sell prescription eyewear. Side note, the wife of that excellent Optician is one of the best internal medical Doctors at the Buriram Government Hospital. One other Optician to consider for professional vision tests and eye glasses at a fair price is located on Sunthorn Thep Road, 1 1/2 blocks from my downtown Ruangsangthai builders merchant store. The excellent Optician Buriram Karn Van is located in an eyeglass shop that also sells watches. 044-012-593. It is next door to a "finance office" and not far from Phitak Road.
