Huawei make a wifi transmitter that enables wifi from an air/sim card.

You can buy one in IT world in Taweegit Plaza (opposite City Hall).

They are easy to use. You just place your sim card inside, rather like a mobile phone. Switch it on and there you go. Wifi in the house. Works to about 30 metres.

BTW, also in the Big C clearance section they had LG Blu-Ray DVD players for around 900 baht.   Bought one.  But this one does not seem to like Thai DVDs.

But I realized I used a Pattaya DVD and a Korat DVD, need to try it with a DVD from the local shop I mentioned across from Big C.  Will report back when I get to it.

DVDs from Burirum worked with the LG blu Ray player.

One of my buds in Parts waits to buy DVDs here because they work.

Starman,
I  saw on the internet something called Huawei Mobile WiFi, a black gizmo, at 3000 Bts. model number, MiFi E5151. Does this sound like what you were talking about.

That will work SomLuk. Not sure about availability locally. You must also check the MHz.

This is the one I have. I bought it top floor of Taweegit plaza (opposite City Hall). About 3000 baht.

Starman,
Thanks again, I got one at AIS, they call theirs a pocket WiFi. Now I am trying to figure out how to get my TV to get the Internet. A bunch of applications pop up, Face Book, Skype, Fitness TV, Etc. but no way to search the internet.  I sure it has the capability, but so far I can't figure it out.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
