CHANG EXPORT,,,,,,,,100% FINEST MALT
« on: October 24, 2011, 08:00:32 PM »
A great new beer from Chang,,,,,Export,100% finest malt,5%,,,,,,,,,
The nearest thing to beer(not lager) that has yet been brewed in Thailand.
Costs the same as Leo,,,available in cans & 640ml bottles,,,Chang could have hit a big winner with this.

Yes, it was a really great afternoon yesterday Nookie. How do you manage to sell the Chang Export @ only 50 baht? from waht I've read on here, others can only manage to sell it @ 65 baht. Is everything much more expensive in Buriram / Surin ?
How did you get those Chang babes there?

65baht is a bit steep. I bought a box the other day for 485baht. That works out at about 40 baht a bottle. I dont normally go out drinking. Usually stay at home and sink a few cold ones. If the establishments in the town are selling at 65baht then thats just one more reason to stay away.

I understand that they have overheads but 25 baht profit on a bottle is taking the p*&^ a bit.

You have to make a profit, but I think 62.5% markup is quite steep....

Everybody has a choice as I have said before,If people don't like to pay high prices buy in bulk and drink at home. But to be honest if I wanted to eat farang food the price of the beer doesn't bother me and wouldn't put me off going to any establishment  .Your pay' your money and take your choice. As the nearest western run Restaurant is a 120k round trip for me, to pay a bit extra for a beer is just nit picking  smilenod
