May I ask what are you doing in Thailand? Farming? Business or retirement?

Thanks, mate. I write and research {supplemental}. As we have large holdings of land - 350 rai, we're well entrenched into the farming/horticulture/stock thing. Cattle, eggs, chooks, ducks, 2 types of rice, 7 varieties of fruit, 4 dozen varieties of vegetable matter, etc. Plus we have a small village mercantile - keeps us outta trouble.

wow.  so you have a very big farm there. show us some pictures of your place when you have time.

I am from Sweden, but have lived in Thailand for 22 years, have had some business here before, but work now sometimes in China
Married since 13 years, and we spend a lot of time in our house outside Prakornchai, where we also have some land for rice and sugarcane
I have a problem: When I check the forum as a guest, I can see a thread "skandinaver i buri ram". But when I log on, the thread disappears. Why? As I a´m from Sweden, it could be okay to speak with some scandinavians.

Most of the forum is in English but many of us are not English native speakers so you can feel comfortable.

hi all.
I'm new to this forum so thought it would be nice to introduce myself here.
I'm 46 years old, Spain. thinking of early retirement in Thailand maybe even Buriram, don't know yet need to feel the area and see if its what I really want, early retirement is a big step for me and I have many doubts and questions hope you could give me some guidelines and clues of how life is in Buriram.

I am new to this board and thought I would say Hi to all here. No stranger to Thailand but never been to Burriram.
Now have found a lady, well maybe and coming to visit her in October so thought i would join the local board and maybe even meet some of you guys for a drink when I am there.

Anyhow I may have a few questions later but your website is rather good.
