Jamie, a Scot, had a house in Nangrong for 4 years but only started living in it about a year ago as both my wife and I have been working in the Middle East. I work in various countries and look forward to coming home to chill and have a beer.

Hi nico
Welcome to Buriram Expats. I have never experienced -30C and probably never will. I am not sorry. I hope you get you wishes of a future visit back to 'The Land of Smiles' and get the info you requested from the fishermen here.

Hello everybody, I'm Marc, from Belgium. I live in Lahansai since 2003, at first at my mother in law's place in Kilohok (about 6 clicks form centre Lahansai direction Ban Kruat ) and since 2007 in centre Lahansai. I'm 54, self-retired, 2 kids : 3 and 10, both beautifull girls ... lucky me !?!?!
We sit regularly with a few farangs opposit the BRY motorshop for a few brewskis : Richard (englishman - he had a nice pizzashop untill 2 years ago here in Lahansai) - Mister Ot (norwegian) - Jim (norwegian) - Jean (belgian) and some more.
My favourite is doing nothing sipping beer - at least when the gout doesn't kick in - and watching the time fly by ...

Hi everyone  I am new to the forum, but not to Thailand, have been here for about 4 years now.  Living north of Buriram City, and busy building a new house.

Hope to meet some of you in person in the near future, you all look like a friendly lot.

Cheers
