Province governor has ordered to litigation decisively with illegal wood processing factory.


Mr.Peerasak Hinmuangkao (Buriram province governor) has ordered to make the investigation to officers of Tamenchai police station to accelerate the investigation and get into the facts to find out who owns illegal wood processing factory to prosecuted decisively without omissions.

If the village leader is the owner of the factory then the prosecuted will be by disciplinary action as well.

Now the investigation officers of Tamenchai police station has issued a warrant for a second time already.

If the village leader will not come again, then will issue an arrest warrant.

Doctors and nurses protested to oppose the draft bill on consumer protection in health service.

At Buriram hospital, the doctors and nurses approx 100 people wear black and holding signs with messages saying they do not agree and oppose the draft bill on consumer protection from the health service at the Director building to show powerful objection to draft bill on consumer protection in health service and saying that if the law is promulgated it will destroy the good relationship between the treatment providers and patients because there will probably be an increase in litigation in the future and cause distrust between both sides and will cause the doctors and nurses to have no moral in the performance of duties.
Therefore request to cancel the draft on consumer protection in health service as above.

You can see the extensive progress has been made in the area.
Completion of all the project will be within 3 months if everything goes by their plan.

There is also a continues of this project which is where the moat continues on Khu mueang road, but as the project manager told me, its another company’s project/job to do in the future.

Buddhist holidays this month.

There was a big festival with stage for dancers and singers Thai Opera show (“Lige”) and big statues made of wax, lots of music,people dancing around to traditional music and good street Thai food.

Location: Along Jira road start from the cityhall roundabout till gate number 3 of Rajabhat university.

This day is a Buddhist public holiday. It happens one day just before the Buddhist Lent day. This day commemorates the first sermon of Buddha to his five first disciples. One of them asked to become a monk. So this day is sacred because it deals with Buddha, Dharma and Sangha (Buddhist community). There are also candlelit processions.

This day is a Buddhist public holiday. It is the beginning of the Buddhist rain retreat which lasts three months. During this period monks are not allowed to sleep outside their temple. Thai people buy big candles and offer them to temples

Criminals invaded leverage store construction materials.

Unknown number of criminals have been invaded leverage of a famous store construction materials shop in Buriram city during the time the shop was closed in Buddhist Lent day.

Shop named “Buriram Home Club” or “Sui Heng Seng”, located 32/1-8 Inchannarong road, Muang, Buriram province ( In the Buriram municipality area).

The criminals intended to steal safety box but did not succeed because the safety box is 200 kilogram/Kg weight so the criminals has stolen another property instead, such as: Metal Fiber Cutting Machine and 4,000 baht cash.

Tourists and Buriram local people flocked to pay homage to “Phra Suphatthara Bophit” Buddha image on “Khao Kradong” mountain during Buddhist Lent.

Tourists and people both from inside and outside of Buriram province traveled to merit during Buddhist Lent day have been visiting “Khao Kradong national park” in the last day of the holiday in order to pay homage to “Phra Suphatthara Bophit” to pray for the benediction and prosperity for themselves and their families and for safety trip before their journey back to work to Buddha image which located on the top of “Kao Kra Dong” mountain.

In addition, the visitors also see the beautiful scenery on the mountain.

“Khao Kradong” mountain is an extinct volcano which climbs to a level of 265 meters above sea level and located 6 km’s from the town of Buriram on the Buriram – Prakhonchai Road.

People purchase “Wild Food” that sold on the roadside.

At buriram province, people and tourists that were traveling to merit and visit the candle festival parade at south provinces of northeastern in the Buddhist Lent day has stopped by the roadside shops in order to purchase the “Wild Food” that sold on the roadside at Pa Kham district ( On the road of Pa Kham-Nang Rong) during their journey back home to giver as a lagniappe/gift to their friends and family.

This has increased the income of the traders to more than 1,000 per day from their usual income which is only 200-300 Baht per day.

Tourists flock to see Phanom Rung during the Buddhist Lent day.

During a long holidays during the Buddhist Lent at Phanom Rung castle.

There were many people climbed up the hill to see the beauty and the wondrousness of the Phanom Rung castle which made the tourist increased from normal 1,000-2,000 people per day to be 5,000 people per day which its expected that during four days will have visitors of not less than 20,000 people and the revenues from the gifts and souvenirs shopping including restaurants has increased after stagnating for a long time.

Buriram people flock to relaxe at “Lam Nang Rong” Dam during the Buddhist Lent day.

“Lam Nang Rong” Dam is located Non Din Dang district, Buriram province.

During a long weekend which have four consecutive days, there were many people spent time with family and friends to relaxe from work in this weekend at Lam Nang Rong Dam.

During these four days, the merchants made an income from selling food and drinks about 2,000-3,000 baht per day compare to their usual income which is less than 1,000 baht per day.

Buriram military make merit and The Wientian ritual.

There were approx 500 of Buriram military joined the Wientian ritual (candle procession) and make merit in a Buddhist Lent for the prosperity in life and preserve the good tradition of Thailand and to promote ethics for the military officials.

Illegal wood processing factory workers has been arrested.

Buriram police cooperated with Tamenchai police ( Tamenchai police station, Lam Plai Mat district, Buriram) has invaded illegal wood processing plants in the area behind the village Ban Khok Sa Nuan, Talad Pho subdistrict (tumbon), Lam Plai Mat district (Ampher), Buriram province.

Three people were charged and been arrested during working on illegal wood processing while the police arrived to the scene area, names Mr.Prasart Tammasarn, Mr.Banjong Srisutam, Mr.Jumlong Putphimind.

The investigation of the three accused has confessed that they are employees of Mr.Jumlong Sananram, the village leader of Talad Pho subdistrict (tumbon).

The police will issue a warrant to Mr.Jumlong Sananram to investigate.

People who did not paid for education loans have been sued at Buriram court.

At Buriram province, the organization of “Funds for educational loans” has sued 1,556 people who did not paid for education loans which total debt value over 154 millions baht.

Today all the people who did not paid for the school loan has joined the project of “resolving conflicts” at Buriram court and made compromise agreement at the third floor conference room.

The mediation began today until the end of September 2010.

People who participate in resolving the dispute will be granted special discount from the original fine of 18 percent per year down to 7.5 percent per year.

Checking prices of religious supplies before the Buddhist Lent day.

Department of Internal Trade of Buriram province has servey the shops that are selling religious products to check prices before the Buddhist Lent day in order to prevent exaggerated prices because there is an opportunity for an entrepreneurs to take an advantage of this opportunity and also may sell goods their date has been expired, poor quality or sell packs in exaggerated prices.

These actions come to protect consumers from exploitation by the sellers.

The survey has found that most shops do not display price tags therefore had been warned.

The Commendable doctor in Buriram province.

At buriram province, many people (youth, elderly, children and pauper) have been to Dr.Sonthaya’s clinic for a free treatment, This clinic is located on Nivas road, Muang, Buriram.

Dr.Sonthaya has set up a day of free treatment in his clinic on every 18th July of every year, which it’s an anniversary of Somdej Phra Srinagarindra Boromarajajonani’s death (Somdej Phra Srinagarindra Boromarajajonani or Somdej Ya means “the Royal Grandmother”) to remembrance divine grace of Somdej Ya and to consecration as a royal charity for His Majesty in the project of

“Tum Kwarm Dee Tum Kum Por” (Be Good For Father).

This is the 15th anniversary he has made and in this year all day people came to get a treatment more than 1,000 person which most people are villagers and farmers who were ill because of hard work.

In addition, there were also charity people who brought foods and drinks to the people for free as well.

Leptospirosis warning from Buriram Provincial Health Office.

Buriram Provincial Public Health Office has warned farmers to careful Leptospirosis disease that outbreaks during rainy season or farming season.

Recently it has been reported that there were 253 people of disease leptospirosis patients in a various hospitals in Buriram province and 3 people has died which mostly in the aged group of 35 – 44 years old and farmers who were down into the water for a long time without wearing boots.

The district that has found the most patients are Non Suwan district, Khu Muang district, Huai Rat district, Lahan Sai district, Na Pho district and Ban Kruat district.

In addition, the Public Health is warning farmers who down into the water for a long time if have a high fever, headache, muscular calves conjunctivitis then have to go to see a doctor immediately. If the patients delayed to go to see a doctor for treatment, they may have severe symptoms and deaths from renal failure.

“Leptospirosis” (also known as Weil’s disease, Weil’s syndrome, canicola fever, canefield fever, nanukayami fever, 7-day fever, Rat Catcher’s Yellows, Fort Bragg fever, and Pretibial fever) is a bacterial zoonotic disease caused by spirochaetes of the genus Leptospira that affects humans and a wide range of animals, including mammals, birds, amphibians, and reptiles.

Buriram workers were deceived by illegal recruiters.

Ten workers from Lam Plai Mat district, Nangrong district, Nong Ki district and Muang Buriram have appealed to the Employment Office of Buriram Province for assistance as they were deceived by Illegal recruiters who claimed that will send them to work in Bahrain country and paid for the recruiters 30,000 – 50,000 baht per person, totaling more than 318,000 Baht but actually the workers were not to be sent to work in Bahrain or any country.

The Employment Office has collected details and evidences in order to inform the police to track the illegal recruiters as above to the proceedings.

In addition, the Office of Employment of Buriram Province said that since the beginning of the year until now, there were 96 cases of complaints to the Office of Employment in Buriram province from the labors who were tricked by the illegal recruiters which claimed that can send people to be work in foreign countries.

Losses total more than 6,441,000 Baht.

Jealous man kills wife and tried to kill himself in Buriram.

It was a tragic that the 42-year-old husband brutally murdered his wife 42 years old as he suspected that she is infidelity, by used the hammer smash on her head until death before he attempted to commit suicide by drinking insecticide in the bedroom at their home, address 22 Moo.2, Ban Bunlung Noi, Nong Tad subdistrict, Muang district, Buriram province but he been taken to the hospital and is in coma.

Buriram provided buffaloes to the farmers.

Livestock department of buriram province with Livestock of Plubpla Chai district has gave 10 buffaloes of “the support raising buffalo project” to be breeders for the farmers at Somrong subdistrict, Plubpla Chai district, Buriram province in order to implement the buffaloes labor instead of plowing’s equipment and this will reduce production costs and increase revenue.
In addition, the officers also encourage farmers to grow the rice in organic farming style by use the buffalo’s manure instead of chemical fertilizer which is harmful to the health of farmers and consumers.

Aircraft to sprinkle chemicals for the artificial rain-making are not enough.

Mr.Varawuth Khuntiyanun , the Director of the Bureau of Royal Rainmaking said that the aircraft to sprinkle chemicals for the artificial rain-making are not enough and will submit a request to the Air Force to request for the support the aircraft to be able to distribute assistance to the areas of drought problems in all various regions of the country urgently.
However, now the Bureau of Royal Rainmaking have done the artificial rain already 80 percent of the areas which are drought affected across the country.

Livestock of Buriram province has inoculate for the cattle – buffalo.

The officers of Livestock department of Buriram province has cooperated with Livestock of Prakhon Chai district has out to servey and gave vaccination services to Cows – Buffalo of the farmers in villages at Sa Dao subdistrict, Plubpla Chai district, Buriram province which has about 600 of cattle and buffaloes has been injected vaccines.
This vaccine is to control the spread of anti “Foot rot-mouth” disease that is often epidemic during the rainy season.
In addition, the “Livestock Office” has also provided consulting about forage crops, artificial insemination services, animal health inspection, enter the anthelmintics and spraying lice medication to eliminate ticks which it’s a contagion that risky to the health of cattle – buffalo without any charges.

Villagers invade Buriram city hall.

Villagers from Hin Lek Fai subdistrict, Khu Muang district, Buriram province has rally and protested in front of Buriram city hall and has submitted a letter to Mr.Phirasak Hinmuangkao (Buriram Provincial governor) demanding to move Mr.Nithit Paideenukul ( The permanent secretary of the administration organization subdistrict of Hin Lek Fai) and Mrs.Nithinat Paideenukul ( The chief of the finance ) to leave the area urgently.
The villagers claimed that both of them have behavior of coming late to work and back home before the time, drinking alcohol in working hours, Impolite, seek for personal gains/benefits, working is not transparent and created an cleavage between an officers in the office of the administration organization subdistrict.

Progress of the case of 2 girls that been Raped in Buriram.

Police has arrested two criminals that raped two students at Phutthaisong district.
Relatives and many people were flock to punish the criminals at the incident point, while the police took the criminals to show the action to perform of confession (crime restoration) amid the surveillance of police.
The criminals names are:
Mr.Tunva Boonna, 19 years old and Mr.Phunya Nanudon, 19 years old.
Both of them were prisoners of Burglary cases and Rape cases and just out from jail on the last December ( December 2009 ).

Farmers in Buriram has blocked the canal together.

The farmers at Krasang subdistrict and Ban Bua subdistrict that have been facing with a drought problem have collaborated using sandbags to block the canal to prepare storage of the water that the Irrigation department will release water from reservoirs to help farmers after the farmers have requested assistance from the Irrigation department.

In addition, the farmers said that if no rain or if the Irrigation department will not release the water from the reservoirs within two weeks then the rice farms will wither, dry and be damaged surely.

People flock to buy postcards to predict the World Cup in the final four teams.

At the Post office of Buriram province has a number of football fans flock to buy postcards to predict the World Cup in order to win cash prizes and other awards worth over 40 millions Baht.

The Post office of buriram province branch alone has sales exceeded more than four hundred twenty thousand (420,000) postcards, while the total other 16 branches has reached sales exceeded of more than 1.2 Million postcards.

However, Buriram post office has requested for allocated quota for 160,000 additional post cards to provide adequate the needs of the people.

Frustrated farmers has planted rice in the middle of the road to ridicule government.

Villagers at Sa Kae subdistrict, Satuk district, Buriram province have jointly issued the complaint and led rice in order to plant on the middle of the road of Satuk – Non Jum Pa to ridicule the government after being frustrated with the condition of damaged road with bumpy all the way of more than 20 kilometers which is causing traffic problems for over 10 years.

Currently roads condition are unsafe for public access but no have any organization / department come to repair the road.

It’s on the main road which is connected to the Elephant village which is a tourism attraction of Satuk district, Buriram province and the Elephant village of Surin province. The tourists both Thai and foreign travel with difficulties.

In addition, people also use this road to transport agricultural products to sell, students go to school and also transport patients to the district hospital and hospital of the province.

Therefore urge the relevant government agencies to accelerate the process of amendment for a better traffic convenience to alleviate hardship for the people.

2 girls been raped and seriously injured.

The incident happened on “Phutthaisong – Ban Mai Chaipot” road, 5 Km away from bus station of Phutthaisong district.

Two girls (18 years old and 19 years old) were riding the motorbike to go home when about 8 pm, then have 2 men were riding motorbike beside them, then used the knife as a weapon to hijack and made them to stop the motorbike and then drag them into the wild on the roadside which is about 2 meters away from the road and assaulted them with a knife lancing on the face and body and raped. Thereafter took the motorbike and two cell phones and money 500 baht of the victims and threatened them before escaped.

Minister of Transport prepare budget submission 2 billion baht to continue the dustless road project.

Mr.Sopon Zaram (The Minister of Transport) presided over the opening ceremony of “Khok Pet -Toob Chang Road”, unde Dustless Road Project in Pon Samran subdistrict, Khu Muang district, Buriram province.

The Transport minister said that Minister of Transport has prepared to request for the budget submission of the annual of 2011 for the dustless road project to the Cabinet for 2 billion baht, in order to continue the dustless road project of 4,000 Kilometers more.

Usually the Government has allocated a budget to the Minister of Transport only 600 millions baht which it’s not enough and from the surveying found that more than 150,000 kilometers of the road in the country must be developed.

Livestock officers has provided knowledge to the pig farms to prevent the outbreaks of PRRS in pig farms.

Livestock officers of buriram province have inspected pig farms following reports of the Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) that has killed a large number of pigs in Nong Khai province.

Livestock officers in Buriram province have visited pig farms to give advice to farmers on hygiene and farm management. They have also given the farmers disinfectants and urged pig farmers to urgently report any symptoms of illness in the pigs to the department, so that officers could inspect and prevent the spread of the disease. Farmers should not consume the sick pigs as the disease can cause fatalities, according to the local officers.

Mr.Peerasak Hinmuangkao (Buriram Provincial governor) together with the provincial Irrigation officer and The farmers office has opened the reservoir named “Huay Jaw Ra Khe Mak” in order to release water from reservoirs for agriculture to farmers of 4 villages ( Moo.1, Moo.2, Moo.14 and Moo.18) of Ban Bau subdistrict, Muang district, Buriram province, after farmers has appealed for assistance from the Provincial Irrigation office. Amid the exaltation of the farmers.
