Municipality of Lamplaimat leave garbage on the street.

Villager representatives from 3 sub districts viz Hin Khon sub district, Khok Larm sub district and Nong Khu sub district, belong to Lamplaimat district, Buriram province, gathered to protest at the entrance to Non Ngiu village Moo.8 Nong Khu sub district, Lamplaimat-Chum Puang road which is the garbage dump area of Lamplaimat Municipality with an area of 5 rai.

The villagers gathered to demand the municipality of Lamplaimat district to solve the problem of the garbage dump area urgently because the garbage dump area has created pollution and smelly foul a wide area beyond 5 kms.

People in 5 villages of 3 sub districts have suffered for over 20 years.

Especially in the rainy season, which can not burn waste.

So the garbage truck has been dumped the garbage on the street.

In addition, it is also effect the rice fields of the farmers over 100 Rais that are near the area around the garbage dump area because the waste is causing the water to be polluted and not clean.

Hospitals are preparing to handle with traffic accidents.

Health Public Office Buriram has ordered all hospitals of Buriram province to prepare to handle with accidents that may occur to the public, Tourists and people that make journeys by car during New Year’s celebrations.

A training plan to increase availability during receivership by training to increase readiness skills, organize the shift of doctors and nurses, preparation of the medical devices, pharmaceuticals and emergency rooms.

Buriram people lack of winter coats.

Lately the temperature in Buriram province was cooling down continuously.

Lately the province has announced that all 23 districts as ‘winter disaster’ zones.

In addition also has established a specialized center of prevention and solve problem of winter disaster in all districts to assist victims.

Based on survey data found that there are children, grandsire, pauper and people with disabilities approx 300,000 people are facing with shortage of winter clothes (clothing).

Initially the province governor has approved an emergency budget of 1 million Baht for the purchase of winter clothing to distribute to the victims about 5,000 parcels.

Bicycle thieves were arrested.

Buriram police has arrested 2 men who stole people’s bicycles which the latest bicycle been stolen is belong to the judge of Buriram province court that cost more than 26,000 baht.

The bicycles that been stolen are of expensive brand names which the prices are over 10,000-20,000 baht and the thieves has sold to the shop in Nakhon Ratchasima province (Korat) for 2,000-3,000 baht then the shop will sell to the customers for 6,000-7,000 baht.

There are several cases of people who had their bicycle stolen and has informed/reported to the police at Buriram police station.

Internal Trade of Buriram has been out explored the basket gifts in Big C.

Staff of Internal Trade of Buriram province has been out to explore the basket gifts in BigC in order to prevent the operators exploit the consumers during the festival year.

The operators have to show price tag on the basket gifts in clearly visible so people have the opportunity to compare the selections.

In the same time also ordered the operators to not include alcohol beverages packed into the basket gifts.

If found that the operators selling New Year’s Gift Baskets by adjusting the price more expensive than reality or bringing the goods that deteriorated or expired arranged in gift basket The traders will be prosecuted.

It has been found that most of basket gifts are packed as healthy drinks.

The selling prices start from 299 baht up to the maximum price of over 2,000 Baht.

Blood samples of pigs Collected for pathogen detection PRRS.

Livestock of Buriram province in conjunction with Livestock of Krasang district has sent staff to spray the disinfectant and collected blood samples of pigs for pathogen detection PRRS and provide instructions on how to observe symptoms and ordered all districts to increase surveillance strictly to prevent outbreaks during the winter.

Buriram pawn shops prepared cash more than 30 million for the customers during new year festival.

The pawn shops of Buriram municipal has prepared cash more than 30 million baht and the revolving money in stock which is more than 180 million baht in order to serve the people in the new year festival which it is expected that this year will have customers more than last year because of higher living expenses.

In addition also added credit on pledging gold from 14,500 baht to be 15,500 baht per one baht gold weight.

Plainclothesman been attacked.

The incident was in Krasang’s intersection on Buriram-Nangrong road, while the police stopped their car ‘Toyota Vigo’ in the intersection after the patrol.

Then a car ‘Toyota Fortuner’ arrived to the intersection and used the gun shooting at the police car, therefore the police was chasing driving after the shooter and the shooter turned off the headlights and drove to escape in the darkness but unfortunately the car has clashed into the fence wall of a pig farm and turned over.

Thereafter the shooter been arrested and has confessed and explained the cause of shooting was because of the high-spirited feeling.

The stores where selling expensive and deteriorate New Year’s Gift Baskets will be prosecuted decisively.

Department of Internal Trade of Buriram province has indicated that if detected the traders who selling New Year’s Gift Baskets by adjusting the price expensive than reality, no label listed, no price tag attached or bringing the goods that deteriorated or expired arranged in gift basket or gift’s set which may be hazardous to the health of the consumers or bringing alcoholic beverages packed in the basket.

The traders will be prosecuted as below:

-No price tag: close to a fine not exceeding 10,000 baht.
-Expensive than the real distribution:
It will be up to 7 years imprisonment to a fine not exceeding 140,000 baht, or both.

The Internal Trade of Buriram province will send out staff for a random inspection continuously.

Shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years to a fine not exceeding 100,000 Baht and if deny the sale. close to a fine not exceeding 10,000 baht.

Farmers flock to open bank account to receive compensation from the Revenue Assurance project of the government.

Farmers at Buriram province flock to BAAC Bank (Bank for agriculture and agricultural co-operatives) in buriram branch in order to open the bank account to receive the compensation from the Revenue Assurance project of the government about 500-600 people per day which the staff in the bank are not enough to serve them immediately, therefore the bank has taken their documents and arrange an appointment for the farmers come to get the bank book later.

Mr.Niyom Rattanayenjai (Director of BAAC Bank) said that BAAC bank has transfered the compensation to the farmers for 18,745 cases total amount of more than 207 million Baht.

Because the prices of rice in the market has decreased and expected to decrease continuously, therefore many farmers come to use their rights.

While this week, the participating farmers will receive compensation of 1,558 baht per Ton.

The bank expects those participating will be all right by the end of this month.

Buriram Livestock ordered all districts to control strictly after found an outbreak of PRRS disease at Si Sa Ket province.

After has found 500 pigs died in swine farms from infection of PRRS at Sisaket province which recently the province has announced 5 districts are a pandemic disaster area. Therefore the livestock of buriram province has instructed the District Livestock in every district to spray the disinfectant according the pig farms and abattoirs. Along with suggest the knowledge of sanitation for the swine farms operators which there are over 80 swine farms that registered as the standard farm and over 400 of minor pig farms in Buriram province.

In order to control and prevent outbreaks of PRRS checks has been made but even now in Buriram province have not found the outbreak of such diseases

Sugar prices soaring to record.

The traders selling desserts are experiencing problems after the sugar price has increased unprecedented from the last 2-3 months price is 22 to 23 baht per kilogram but now it is 27 baht per kilogram.  
This is resulting the cost of desserts to be increased from 10 to 20 percent but have to sell desserts in the same price because of the fear that will not be sold if reduce the amount of deserts down or price increase.
Therefore, traders insist the government to accelerate control on sugar prices because if sugar prices will be rising higher, then the traders will suffer losing in business and and they had suffered very heavy losses indeed.

People in Buriram make merit in commemoration of His Majesty’s 83rd birthday.

Mr.Peerasak Hinmuangkao (Buriram province governor) together with officials, soldier, police and people all about 1,000 persons has joined together and make a merit in front of Monument King Rama 1, on Sadet Niwat road and brought rice and dry food to give alms to the monks on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 83rd Birthday Anniversary.

Walking Running charity events.

Buriram has opened the “walking running charity events” by the Deputy Governor of Buriram province presided over the opening ceremony.
More than 1,000 persons, students and officials joined the events.
This events has held for the commemoration of His Majesty’s 83rd birthday and to encourage people to have harmony and to be united and to show loyalty to His Majesty the King.

The almshouse offered free meal to honor the King

Welfare shop of Buriram hospital together with the donors has organized the almshouse under the project name “Rong Tarn Ruamjai” to offer free meals to the relatives of patients to honor the King, on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s 83rd birthday.
The offering food as below:
Rice soup, Noodles with red pork, Fried pork with basil leaves with rice, Stewed Pork and Egg with Five Spices, Noodle in Fish Curry Sauce, Ice cream and Fruits.
This project will be held on a monthly basis.
Therefore the people who wish to participate in the project of “Rong Tarn Ruamjai” can bring foods and drinks to donate by contact the Public Relations Department or Welfare shop’s hospital.

A brutal murder of girl aged 20.

The incident area is 4 kms away from Khu Muang district, 200 meters deep into ”Dong Keng forest” which it is a forest area size of more than 4,500 rai located on the road of Khu Muang – Phutthaisong.
The body was found by the forest officer in the condition of prostration, bare bottom by the panties was down around the thighs, head out of draft about 1 meter away from the body, decaying and smelly foul over the area.
Which later know the deceased name is Miss.Kanniga Kwinram, aged 20 years old, address 70 Moo 4, Ban Hua Nong, Nong Khaman subdistrict, Khu Muang district, Buriram province.
Father of the deceased said that the daughter and her boyfriend were driving a red crystal Suzuki motorcycle out of the house since 17th November 2010 and then they both disappeared until it was found that the daughter is no longer living.
In preliminary the police assumed that the culprit seems to be the boyfriend that disappeared with the vehicle and may set the scene to look as a rape case.

Buriram police donate blood to honor the King.

Police officers and Noncommissioned police with the wives from all stations under the Provincial Police Buriram from 23 districts of Buriram province together with population and students all about 300 people has donated blood to honor the King.

Which has a total of 90,000cc of blood, which the Red Cross will donate to various hospitals in order to help the patients and accident victims who need blood.

In addition, there are also six people who have requested to donate their bodies and eyes to honor the King.
