Gang of phone lines cables thieves has been arrested.

Buriram police arrested a gand who stole many phone line cables from the area of four provinces in the northeast; Roi Et, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram and Maha Sarakham, caused many problems, the gang used to cut the cables and sell the material to yards who bought it from them to make profit.

The gang has been arrested and will prosecuted.

Leptospirosis outbreak in Buriram.

Dr.Sompong Jarungjittanuson from buriram provincial public health office has warned people to careful Leptospirosis disease that outbreaks during rainy season or farming season. Recently it has been reported that there were 388 people of disease leptospirosis patients in a various hospitals in Buriram province and 2 people has died which mostly in the aged group of 35 – 44 years old and farmers who were down into the water for a long time without wearing boots.

The district that has found the most patients are Non Suwan district, Khu Muang district, Huai Rat district, Lahan Sai district, Na Pho district, Ban Kruat district and Non Din Daeng district. Therefore warning people/farmers who down into the water for a long time if have a high fever, headache, muscular calves conjunctivitis then have to go to see a doctor immediately. If the patients delayed to go to see a doctor for treatment, they may have severe symptoms and deaths from renal failure.

“Leptospirosis” (also known as Weil’s disease, Weil’s syndrome, canicola fever, canefield fever, nanukayami fever, 7-day fever, Rat Catcher’s Yellows, Fort Bragg fever, and Pretibial fever) is a bacterial zoonotic disease caused by spirochaetes of the genus Leptospira that affects humans and a wide range of animals, including mammals, birds, amphibians, and reptiles.

Buriram Employment Office accelerated assistance to four workers from Libya.

Four thai workers are buriram resident, they been back from working in Libya country and they has complaint to employment office of buriram province that their employers have not pay them the salaries for the last two months which been create a hardship for them. Buriram provincial employment office has coordinated to the company that sent four workers to Libya to take responsibility and help.

Anywise, In preliminary the company has agreed to help and will pay the money to them for 35,000-40,000 baht per person.

The incident occur is in buriram hospital while the employee of electricity was climbing up on a high voltage towers to fix the electrical system located behind the surgery building of Buriram hospital and has been electric shock which burned almost the whole body and in coma now.

Dengue patients increased reach nearly 2,000 people.

After Buriram province has been heavy raining and flooding in many areas, the amount of dengue patients increased and reach nearly 2,000 people and 1 has died.

Particularly in August, just within one month only, it has found 522 cases of dengue patients, Therefore the Buriram public health office in conjunction with health volunteers and local administrative organization has accelerate the elimination sources of mosquito breeding.

In addition, the district that has found the most Dengue fever spreading is Ban Kruat district, Nang Rong district and Muang Buriram.

Youths has been arrested with a narcotics.

Buriram province, Eight youths has been arrested in case of have drug possession.

Police has confiscated 800 grams of “ya ice” and 80 tablets of Amphetamine ( Ya Ba ).

Mr.Sakda Palasan 20 years old and Mr.Soravid Aoksung 21 years old has confessed that they had bought “ya ice” and “ya ba” from Mr.Anurak Chaikot from Chonburi to sell to youths, students in buriram province.

Then the police has expanded arrested of six teenagers both females and males which they are part of a network of narcotics consumers and all of them confessed that they had bought drungs from Mr.Sakda and Mr.Soravid.

Police charged them with illegal narcotics consumption and with possession of the drugs intended for distribution.

Villagers invade Administration Organization Office of Lum Puk subdistrict.

Villagers approx 300 people from 19 villages of Lum Puk subdistrict, Muang district, Buriram province has rally and protested in front of the Administration Organization Office of Lum Puk subdistrict and submitted a letter to the Chairman of administration organization office to issue order to move the Vice chairman and Permanent Secretary of the Subdistrict Administration to leave the area within 24 hours.

The villagers claimed that both of them have behavior corruption, not transparent in working and seek for personal gains, Impolite and created an cleavage between an officers in the office of the administration organization subdistrict. Therefore the villagers requested to move both of them out from the area within 24 hours. If not then the villagers will appeal to the province governor.

Football match of “Sponsor Thai Premier League” between “Buriram PEA” (host team) with ” Muangthong United F.C.” (visited team) at “I-Mobile Stadium” Khao Kradong mountain,Samet sub-district,Muang district,Buriram province with the fans club approx 23,000 people.

Mr.Navin Chidchob ( The Chairman of “BURIRAM PEA” THUNDER CASTLE ) and his wife Mrs.Karuna Chidchob ( The Chairman of “BURIRAM FC” LAVA FIRE ) has joined on cheering with fans club as well. Results in the first half the score was 0-0 and results in the second half, Buriram PEA win with the score of 1-0.

More than 400 Rai of rice fields has been flooded.

Regions of Buriram province has been heavy rain which caused the rice fields in region of Nang Rong district and Lahan Sai district has been flooding more than 400 rai and many road were scour damage at region of Satuk district as well, which currently is under survey the damage but there are no have any reports of flooding houses.

Mr.Peerasak Hinmuangkao (Buriram province governor) has issued alert the public to be aware the dangerous from conditions of flash floods. Especially people who living in the area of riverside of “Moon river” at Satuk district and “Rim Nam Mat river” at Lam Plai Mat district to have a surveillance and prepare for immigrants and moving the animals and objects up to a higher area in order to prevent losses that may result from flash floods conditions.

Volunteers and youths together drop “Abate sand” to cut cycle of the dengue epidemic spread.

Buriram Municipality has cooperated with the community leaders, volunteers and students all together about thousand of people have out to survey in order to educate people and drop “Abate” sand (tempos sand granules) in the water containers in temples, schools, government buildings and homes to cut the cycle of the dengue epidemic and prevent mosquitoes from breeding which may bring dengue vectors to spread disease to humans, especially during rainy season is risky to have outbreaks of dengue fever. The statistics this year of Buriram province is now has found 1,600 patients with Dengue hemorrhagic fever and 1 died and in tend to increased continuously.

Financial auditing of the Community Bank will be completed within August 2010.

Mr.Niyom Rattanayenjai (Director of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural/BAAC) have indicated that after the BAAC bank has sent 7 people of bank’s officers with accounting expertise to joined the auditing financial of bank community of Ban Non Ja Roen, Ban Kruat district, Buriram province and ensured that the financial audit will complete within the end of August 2010.

If has found that it was a fraud, then it’s the authority of Financial institution in the proceedings because BAAC bank to provide financial support to the community by lending money for use for operations management proposes only.

Villagers flock to worship strange mushroom larger than normal.

People at Ban Dan district, Buriram province were stampede to see giant strange mushroom which appear on the flowers pot at house No. 34 Moo.13, Ban Dan district.

The villagers said they have never see mushroom big such like this, Therefore they have brought the incense to pay homage to pray for a windfall because of last year this house owner have been won the lottery.

Community bank has misapplied the deposit of the public.

Approx 300 people of community bank’s member has appeal to Mr.Peerasak Hinmuangkao (Buriram province governor) that the community bank of Ban Non Ja Roen, Non Ja Roen subdistrict, Ban Kruat district, Buriram province has misapplied the deposit of more than six millions baht which make the members can not withdraw cash to spend.

The committee has checked and known the whereabouts of offenders but can not be disclosed because the case is in the process of collecting the evidence.

Mr.Nut Chatwatthanasiri (prefect of Ban Kruat district) has said that will accelerate to the bank community return the money back to people quickly and ready to inform the prosecution with everybody who involved the misappropriation of money in

misappropriation of property case and public fraud case with unconditionally.

Marie Anusorn School Buriram opened.

Marie Anusorn School has opened as usual after it has been closed for 5 days from 11th – 15th August 2010.

Teachers / Professors and students were cleaning and sterilizing the area around school’s area.

The school has a strict measures in screening all children before entering the classrooms.

If found an ill student then the school will inform the parents to come and get the student back home to prevent outbreaks of flu 2009.

3 vehicles clashed in Buriram. 8 people wounded 2 serious injured.

Road no. 226 between Buriram – Lam Plai Mat, at Km 8th-9th Km, Ban Muang Nuea, Krasang subdistrict, Muang district, Buriram province. There was an accident of 3 vehicles that has clashed caused 8 people wounded and 2 people seriously injured, all have been sent to Buriram hospital. Fortunately, no casualties.

Police arrested truck transporting illegal wood.

Police highway in conjunction with police of Khu Muang district have arrested a bootlegger transport illegal wood near the area of the sentry box, highway no. 2226, Ban Non Ra Vieng, Moo.3, Nong Khaman, Khu Muang district, road Satuek – Lamthamenchai.

Mr.Samart Nuna, 29 years old was the driver.

The validation has found 47 pieces of wood named “Payung” which it is a forbid wood kind.

Preliminary assessment, wood is valued at approximately five hundred thousand baht (500,000 baht).

If exported to foreign countries will be worth up to 2-3 millions baht.

Buriram province has set up the activities of Nation mother’s day to consecrated the queen.

One of the activities is food for sale in a price of 1 baht per plate in front of municipal market (morning market of Buriram city).

Progress of students with suspected symptoms of flu 2009.

The progress of two students of fifth grade who have been suspected as infected with influenza 2009 are still in the hospital.

Latest news, their symptoms improved and it is expected they can return home within 1-2 days.

Since the beginning of the year until now there were 11 people / patients have been confirmed as infected with the flu 2009 and 1 died.

Fogging spray eliminate mosquitoes and prevent Dengue fever outbreaks.

Buriram Public Health Office in conjunction with Health volunteers and Local administrative organization has dispatched officials to spray chemicals in communities to breeding eliminate mosquito sources and to cut the cycle of epidemics of dengue fever, after the whole province has found patients with dengue fever went to get treatment in various hospitals of more than 1,400 people already and 1 person died.

Most patients were found are children aged between 10-14 years old and followed by the aged group between 5-9 years old.

The regions that has found the most Dengue fever spreading is Na Pho district, Ban Kruat district, Lahan Sai district, Chamni district and Non Suwan district.

Buriram health office accelerated mobilization sterilization flu 2009.

Provincial Public Health with District Public Health of Buriram province cooperated with Teachers / Professors of Marie Anusorn School were accelerated the cleaning and disinfection in the classrooms, tables, chairs, building and around school’s area to control and prevent the spread of influenza 2009.

This has been done after it has been found that one of fifth grade students have been confirmed as infected with influenza 2009 and another 18 people with suspected symptoms have been sent to private hospital for treatment and now there are 2 people still have to get treatment in the hospital.

Mr.Chalit Thongprayoon, the Director of Buriram Hospital have said that, after the weather has changed from summer to rainy season which has affected the public both young, adults and the elderly who have respiratory illness symptoms, flu and dengue fever been to the hospital for the treatment number increased continuously, averaged nearly 2,000 people per day from normally 800-1,000 people per day. Therefore warning the public to be aware of health care, exercise regularly and adequate rest.

Anywise, now the buriram province has found patients with dengue fever of more than 1,400 cases already.

Reservoirs in Buriram province still in a crisis.

Mr.Yongsak Prapapansak, Director of Irrigation of Buriram have said that buriram still experiencing water shortage problems after having the base of the addition the artificial rain and artificial rain operations at Buriram Airport, Satuk district, Buriram province.

Although, because of unfavorable weather the rain did not cover all areas and it affected the amount of water in the 22 reservoirs remaining average of only 40 percent of total capacity.

Therefore the Irrigation department is warning the public to use water parsimoniously.

“Call Center” fraud becoming epidemic in Buriram province.

Mr.Pairot Petrung (The president of Bank Association of Buriram province) has issued an alert to the public to be careful of gangsters that will make a phone call to the victims and claim as they are an officers from DSI (Department Of Special Investigation) and tell the victims that your bank account is involved with a group of Drug trafficking or claim that you’ve received refund on the Income tax or you had outstanding credit card debt, if the victims said that they have never issued any credit card, then the gangsters will claim that someone have counterfeiting your documents issuing the credit card and when the victims believe then the gangster will ask to examine their credit card and take the victims to the ATM machine and will tell the victims to choose the menu in english, then trick/make the victims to transfer money to their bank accounts.

In addition, the data found that Buri Ram province have approx 100 people per month been deceived by gang “call center” and found that about 80 percent of people were tricked by using the phone number that start with 081 which they are the first group in the list using mobile phone.
