More than 500 homes damaged,60 rai of rubber trees collapsed within one month.

Summer storm struck in region of Buriram province within one month, cause more than 500 homes damaged in 7 districts viz Khu Muang district,Satuk district,Plab Pla Chai district,Ban Kruat district,Lahan Sai district,Prakhon Chai district and Nang Rong district.

Currently the area is under evaluation survey damage and will be present to the Province Governors to consider the area to be declared as a disaster area and arrange the assistance to provide to the victims.

22 villages shortage of water consumptions.

A severe drought have effected 22 villages of Nong Tat subdistrict,Muang district,Buriram province.

Villagers facing acute water shortage problem for Consumptions and request the office of District Administration Nong Tat to connected water pipe from the water storage tank for villagers to carry water truck for consumptions by themselves, because “the office of District Administration Nong Tat” has been delay to distribute the water to them because have only one water truck.

A tricycle taxi (Thai language: “Samlor”) man has been found dead in front of the Bank.

In front the “Siamcity” Bank in Buriram province a body has found on a tricycle taxi (Thai language: “Samlor”) .

Traders in that area said they have seen this tricycle taxi man park and lie down since yesterday until today and have found that he was died.

The body was found without any document. Aged between 50-60 years old and have the money only 55 baht.

Police expected that the cause of death might be because of working for many hours among very hot weather.

Teenager arrested for killing.

The incident area was at the public park of Buriram town (opposit the night market), the killer confessed that he sat and drank at the public park then was controversy with the person who died and thereafter used the knife as a weapon stabbing him.

The drought effects on “Off-season rice” cause over 200 rai damaged.

Farmers at Nong Tat sub-district,Muang district,Buriram province has been grievously affected from the drought which have affected on the “Off-season rice” and cause over 200 rai damaged rice fields that can not be eaten or sold because of seed atrophy which can be used as pet food only.

Mr.Narong Prapin (President of District Administration Nong Tat) with community leaders and farmers has survey the damage to Collect data and report to the Agricultural office of province to assist farmers.

42 years old man arrested for killing his wife.

Man 42 years old has confessed that he killed his wife because he thought that he have been betrayed by his wife with another man.

He captured her head striked to the ground and the wall till she died in their rented room near the train station of Buriram.

77 years old has requested for assistance to issue an Identity Card.

Mrs.Aon Rangsai, aged 77 years old has come to Buriram district office with her neigbour to request for an assistance to issue an ID card as she never had since birth, Because lack of an evidence documents since birth and her parents are died and she stayed with her neigbour for over 40 years now.

So she needs the ID card to be an evidence for the right to receive the subvention for elderly from the government and to request for a gold card of the National Health Care Coverage under the policy of 30 baht that the government has set up and to be used as evidence for admission to live at an elderly house.

People are having cash problem after the celebrations of Songkran days.

A number of people at Buriram province are using services of pawn shops of Buriram city after finished Songkran holidays, by pawning their personal properties like; Gold ornaments, Electric equipment, Silk, etc.

Pawn brokers expecting that people will come to use their service at pawn shop approx 1,000 person a day from normally only 200-300 person a day.

Anyhow, a pawn shop of Buriram municipal has prepared cash more than 54 million baht and the revolving money in stock which is more than 160 million baht in order to served to the people.)

Chilli and Cucumber garden has seriously affected from the drought.

Buriram province, farmers has been grievously affected from the drought which have affected on their short-lived plants (chilli and cucumber garden) which was an investment of more than Ten-thousands baht which will be able to make a profit about 20,000-30,000 bath for an income during the dry season. But the gardens are experiencing water deficit problem and it will damage the gardens if rain does not fall within 2 weeks. Therefore request the government to find ways to help the farmers.

100 motorbike taxi drivers in Buriram Province has doubled their income during the Songkran Festival.

During the Songkran Festival of the year 2010, Approximate 100 motorbike taxi drivers at Buriram bus station have revenues of more than the normal range, which is usually their income is about 300-400 baht a day but during Songkran Festival their income has been 800-1,000 baht a day per person.

But this year less income than last year (that was more than 1,000 per day during the Songkran festival of the year 2009).

1 killed,9 injured from a car overturned.

An accident of pick up car “TOYOTA VIGO” Space-Cab back from a wedding at Panomprai district,Roi-Et province heading back home to Plab Pla Chai district,Buriram province.

A car has turned over at the area of Ban Lam Paeng, Khok Kamin which connect between Plab Pla Chai district – Krasang district.

The cause of the accident was tire explosion which caused one person died and nine people were injured in this incident.

Four people were seriously injured and were taken to Buriram hospital and the other Five people injured were taken to Plab Pla Chai hospital.

Villagers remonstrate at capitol of Buriram province.

Approx 300 villagers were protested at Buriram city hall to submit a petition to protest on the announcement of pushing people who are making farms in the area of “Dong Yai National forest reserves” of Non Din Dang district,Buriram province to get out of there.

The storm crashed into Buriram province, more than 100 houses damaged and one died.

The storm struck in 4 districts of Buriram region.( Lahan Sai district,Ban Dan district,Nang Rong district and Non Suwan district) causing thunderstorms which caused 1 (one) temple and 106 (one hundred and six) homes were damaged.

One people and one cow died from thunder lightning. Which currently is under evaluation survey damage and will be present to the Province Governors to consider declared as a disaster area and arrange the assistance to provide to the victims.

In case of the whole house was damaged then will receive the compensation not exceeding 30,000 Baht per house, but in case of some part of the house was damaged then will receive the compensation based on actual damages but not exceeding 20,000 Baht.

The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of Buriram province is warning people in the risky areas that might be thunderstorms and gusty winds to beware of the danger from collapse of trees, large billboards and houses, and alerts the people to track the movement of the Meteorological Department weather forecasts closely to be prepared to deal with the unexpected situations.

Mr.Chai Chidchob “President of the National Assembly and Chairman of the House of Representatives” (Mr.Navin Chidchob’s father) has celebrates his birthday at his home,located at Isan subdistrict,Muang Buriram district,Buriram province, with a number of citizens in Buriram and the members of the House of Representatives of “Puean Navin Group” joined in the birthday party which was jolly atmosphere during the entire time of the birthday party.

The opening ceremony of ‘Dustless Road Construction Project’ at Buriram Province.

The Minister of Transport (Mr.Sopon Zaram) has presided in the opening ceremony of ‘Dustless Road Construction Project’ for Buriram Province. The road Ban Wang Nam Sai – Nong Ya Kaconstruction connects between Hua Fai subdistrict and Khaen Dong subdistrict, Khean Dong district,Buriram province which is 1.6 kilometers length with the budget for the construction of more than 5.9 million baht. Amidst the satisfaction people using that road as it will also improve the people’s health, traffic safety, and agricultural logistics.

The Minister of Transport has Indicated that, presently the “Dustless Road Construction Project” has already conducted more than 70 percent from more than 3,000 kilometers across the country, the remaining is now in progress and will be enabled soon.

President of the National Assembly presided opened the Highway no.219 Buriram-Prakhon Chai road.

Mr.Chai Chidchob (President of the National Assembly and Chairman of the House of Representatives) was a presided open the Highway no.219 Buriram-Prakhon Chai road, at the area of “Phatthara Bopit” intersection, Samet sub-district,Muang district,Buriram province.

Since the year 2552 (2009) the Ministry of Transport has allocated a budget of more than 30 million Baht to improve road in the “Phatthara Bopit” intersection area to expansion of 2 lanes road to be 4 lanes road and installed roadway lightings for the road and traffic light to support the growth of the city of Buri Ram and increase security and convenience for motorists using the road as well.

In this ceremony were present the Minister of Transport (Mr.Sopon Zaram), Buriram Provincial governor (Mr.Peerasak Hinmuangkao) and members of parliament from various areas were joined in the opening ceremony of this road as well.)

GH Bank donated a large water tank to assist students in the wilderness.

The Government Housing Bank (GH Bank) has donated a large concrete water tank which contains 36,000 liters of water for the “Sukun Tarom shcool”,Ban E Meng,Dang Yai sub-district,Ban Mai Chaiyapat district,Buriram province.

Located in wilderness area remote prosperity to help alleviate hardship to students that confront the drought problem because water storage tank in the school is not enough.

While Buriram province has announced already 23 districts are disaster area affected by droughts.

Tourist were disappointed in the phenomenon of the sun-rise at Phanom Rung castle.

Today is the the first day of the phenomenon of the sun-rise through all 15 doorways at the Phanom Rung castle which located at Chalerm Prakiet district,Buriram province.

There were more than 300 tourists both Thais and Foreigners waiting to see the phenomenon but were disappointed as the weather was cloudy so can not see the phenomenon of the sun-rise.

The sun-rise through all 15 doorways will be on 3rd – 4th April and 8th – 10th September 2010 as well. And sunset through all 15 doorways on 5th-7th October 2010.

Teacher of Administration department have rally to demand for solve the disbursement system problem.

Approx 100 person of teacher of administration department from 5 districts (Prakhon Chai district,Phlab Phla Chai district,Ban Kruat district,Kra Sang district,Huai Rat district) were together rally at the Education Service Area Office of Buriram province in order to make a request to solve the disbursement system problem, which was disbursement delays in every month and that creates a problem of family planning spending.

Education Service Area Office has accepted the request and said that will accelerate improving the disbursement systems to be faster and be in the criteria of paying salaries as other general officers.
